Educational and Motivation Potential of Interactive Digital Tools in Class Teaching

Hana Karaahmetović

Abstract

This paper examines the educational and motivational potentials of interactive digital tools in primary education, with a particular emphasis on the possibilities of their implementation in the instructional process. The theoretical framework of the research is based on the TPACK model, which entails the synergy of technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge of teachers a prerequisite for successful digital transformation in the learning and teaching process. The paper presents an analysis of contemporary empirical research, providing insight into the positive impact of digital technologies on the educational process, primarily through the strengthening of students’ intrinsic motivation and the enhancement of their academic achievement. To achieve optimal pedagogical effects, the importance of continuity in the application of these tools in the classroom is highlighted. The study provides an overview of three selected tools – ThingLink, Kahoot!, and LearningApps – the analysis of which identifies the possibilities of implementing interactive scenarios, gamification, and a multisensory approach. Furthermore, the paper considers aspects of teacher competence within digital environments, confirming that the selected platforms are highly applicable and beneficial for instructional practice. Ultimately, this work affirms the transition from traditional teaching frameworks to an interactive learning environment, representing a key step toward the modernization of education adapted to the needs of the digital age generation.
